Last night I downloaded three official plug-ins for Oblivion from the Bethesda website. When I went to install them they quit responding either when I click Next after typing in the activation code (two of them, Orrery and Spell Tomes)), or after successfully activating (one, Horse Armor) I paid almost 5 bucks for the three of them and Bethesda does not refund downloads. I disabled Spyware Doctor and all other non-essential processes, and this only worked to activate Horse Armor, which then crashed anyway. Task Manager says that my CPU is running between 1% and 16%, so my system resources are not being overly taxed. Task Manager even says that the InstallShield Wizard is running, but the activation app is Not Responding.
